Technical Instructor
QuickLearn is a recognized leader of developer training around the world. We
are seeking a high energy technical trainer to join our team. As an instructor
and mentor, your goal will be to help your students improve their skills in
developing applications based on Microsoft .NET developer technologies and products.
The appropriate candidate will possess:

Your Experience and Skills Include:
- 3+ years solid experience developing / delivering training in the software product industry
- Must be able to travel worldwide to customer sites to deliver training
- Proven curriculum development and instructional design skills
- Instructional aptitude and a mix of strong technical and interpersonal client interaction skills
- STRONG verbal and written communication skills
- Highly organized - able to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Demonstrated ability to work in a collaborative fashion with other teams and colleagues.

Technologist/Courseware Designer
This position involves figuring out how to use specific Microsoft business and
developer software (.NET, SharePoint, Visual Studio, BizTalk, etc.) and then
working collaboratively with team members to create training courses that show
people how to use applications and tools to solve their business problems. Your
job will be to create 3-4 fast track instructor-led training classes each year.
The deliverables include working with a subject matter expert (one of our instructors)
in a Program Manager capacity to:
- Define a class outline (spec)
- Create PowerPoint slide decks with text and graphics
- Develop and test hands-on labs
- Design, develop, and author appropriate training and educational course materials
- Research technical documents and user manuals to leverage training content
- Develop and test hands-on labs
- Install, configure, and test operating systems and business applications
- Carefully document lab steps to meet learning requirements
- Use courseware development tools to create content.
Consultant/Mentor
This is a mid-level consulting position with a heavy emphasis on .NET technologies.
Actual development experience with BizTalk Server 2006 is mandatory. Build relationships
with customers to determine business requirements that will drive planning.
Provide technical consultation for new-to-product BizTalk developers and assist
them in the development and enhancement of their existing systems. Understands
the aims of developing customers and works with business analysts to ensure
needs are met with the software. Your qualifications and responsibilities include:
- Must consistently mentor teammates on technical as well as procedural information
- Must be considered by teammates as a technical leader in one or more disciplines
- Build strong client relationships and satisfaction to ensure repeat business.
